Hex aluminum bed
A honeycomb bed is a hexagonal aluminum grid the workpiece rests on. It lets smoke and heat escape below the cut, drastically reducing underside scorch and flashback marks.
Hexagonal cells, not squares — the geometry maximizes open area while staying stiff. Pair with hold-down pins or magnets for warped stock.
