The fine print, in plain words
Privacy policy
Pass Depth (passdepth.com) keeps this simple: we collect as little as possible, and we tell you what and why.
What we collect
- Analytics. We use privacy-conscious, aggregate analytics to see which guides help. It measures page views and rough geography, not individuals.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address to send the letter. That’s it — unsubscribe any time from any issue.
- Contact & orders. If you message us or place a shop order, we keep what you send so we can reply and fulfill it. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
Affiliate links & cookies
Some outbound gear links are affiliate links, including the Amazon Associates program. When you follow one, the retailer may set a cookie so any purchase is credited to us — at no extra cost to you. We set a first-party attribution cookie for the same reason. See our editorial standards for the full disclosure.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your data, we don’t run ad-network profiling, and we don’t email you things you didn’t ask for.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe, request a copy of what we hold, or ask us to delete it — just contact us. Browser controls let you block cookies; the site still works without them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version lives here with a fresh date. Material changes get a note in the newsletter.
