Independence

We are not sponsored by, partnered with, or officially affiliated with any laser manufacturer. Brand and model names appear as nominative reference — to say which machine we’re discussing — never as endorsement or implied partnership. We buy or independently analyze; we don’t run manufacturer copy.

Testing claims

This is a safety-adjacent niche, so we’re strict here: we make no certification, license, or laboratory claims, and we never fabricate hands-on testing. Safety policy

Every settings and material page carries the same discipline: starting points only, run a test grid on scrap, ventilate, keep a fire extinguisher or blanket within reach, and never leave a laser running unattended. We will never publish settings for chlorinated materials — PVC, vinyl, or PVC-backed faux leather — because they release chlorine gas that becomes hydrochloric acid. Our tool refuses them by design. Polycarbonate, ABS, fiberglass, and carbon fiber are flagged for fire and toxic-fume hazards.

Corrections & freshness

Dates on our pages reflect the real last update — no fake “updated this year” chrome. We revisit reviews and roundups quarterly and when the market shifts. Spot an error or have a better owner-verified number? Contact us; we correct promptly and note it.
