Flame polishing
Beam glosses acrylic
Flame polishing is the glassy, optically clear edge a CO2 cut leaves on acrylic when power, speed, and air are balanced — the melt zone self-smooths as it cools.
It is a CO2 signature; diode edges on dark acrylic stay matte. If the edge matters (jewelry, signage), that alone can justify the CO2 class.
